Goblet Flathead

December is Flathead month. Twenty Two anglers competed this month. There were seven ladies, thirteen men and two Juniors. Eighty fish were caught and measured.

The Goblet for Flathead was highly contested. There were thirty eight Flathead measured in.

The Goblet was won by Peter  Dugan with a Dusky Flathead measuring at 63.8 cm,73.44 points.

The mystery fish prize Tuna, was not awarded and will also carry over.

We had our Christmas party as well fifty six people attending and nine children

Turkey…… Was won by Mike Byron who caught an octopus whose tentacles were firmly wrapped around an old beer bottle that had been lying on the bottom of the lake. It was a possession  not easily surrendered by the octopus. The octopus was released back into the lake to continue to develop a cirrhosis problem for its later life
