Dangerous conditions starting Tuesday The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a gale warning for the Sydney, Illawarra, Batemans and Eden coasts; significant wave heights are expected to develop as a cold front brings a southerly change to the NSW coast. Conditions will be the same for the rest of the week, with seas of around 4 metres and swell of around 3 metres for all parts of the coast. Conditions could be dangerous for rock fishing, crossing a coastal bar or heading offshore…wave heights offshore may be larger. Stay safe, always watch the local conditions before fishing, if the rocks are wet then ask why, and never turn your back on the ocean.
